What information do we collect?
We collect some details (including email address) from you you register on pcod.es and also when you use the pcod.es application. If you share promo codes with pcod.es, we collect details of your apps and the codes themselves.
What do we use your information for?
We use the information we collect from you in the following ways:
- To post details of certain pcod.es actions (like getting a free app) to your facebook wall. We will only do this if you have specifically given us permission and you can disable this at any time.
- To improve our website, including both the pcod.es application and our marketing site.
- To help us respond to customer service requests.
- To send occasional emails. The email address you use to sign up will be used to send you emails when application events occur (for example when you need to reset your password), and to update you about changes we make to the pcod.es service.
- Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the pcod.es service.
How do we protect your information?
We care about the security of your personal information and we implement a number of measures to ensure it stays private. pcod.es is hosted in a secure datacenter which employs a strict access control policy. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plaintext.
Do we use cookies?
Cookies are tiny text files that your browser saves so websites can identify you and store preferences. We use cookies to identify your browser so we can log you in and show you your account in pcod.es. We also use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic so we can work hard to improve the site. pcod.es uses third-party web analytics from Google and others to better understand our visitors. These third parties are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.
